Hi Tony,

I found several sites that sell memory for this camera, all stated 128 MB is maximum. One such site is linked below.

Maximum memory capacity in Kodak EasyShare C140

The C140 works with SD and SDHC cards, up to 32GB in size. By swapping memory cards, you have essentially unlimited memory capacity.

You may use any brand SD/SDHC cards, though personally I would stick with the major brands.

Have Sony CyberShot DSC-F707 Sony Memory Stick Duo Adaptor and Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo 4gb When installed get C:1301 error

Hi,

In DSCT1 Camera, the C:13:01 error message indicates a Self diagnostic message. Each of these codes indicates the symptoms and resolutions of the Camera. In C:13:01, the issue is with the Memory Stick being used in the Camera.

The Symptoms are:

Memory Stick Pro Duo 4GB is not compatible with the DSCF707 Camera. Maximum capacity supported by the Camera is up to 128MB. Please try using a MS with 128 MB and check if it works. A dedicated adapter (MSAC-M2) must be attached to use Memory Stick Duo or MagicGate Memory Stick Duo media.

Thanks.

Recently purchased Sony Cybershot DSCW180. Took 3

Yes, you need to have memory stick because camera has limited internal memory that can store few pictures only.
Put new memory card, format it through camera Menu and copy internal memory pictures to memory stick, take our memory card from camera and delete internal memory pictures either one by one or format internal memory through camera Menu.
Thanks.

Maximum Memory Stick size I can put into my Sony DSC-N1

Unfortunately, there is no way to change the internal card reader in the camera to accept higher density memory cards. You can find the memory stick compatibility list here: https://esupport.sony.com/perl/support-info.pl?&info_id=12 . Scroll down to the Cybershot N Series camera list. The maximum capacity memory stick is 4 GB memory stick pro or M2 Memory stick Pro. For the Memory Stick Duo, it looks like those have a maximum capacity of 2 GB.

I hope this helps.

Memory card

Hi!

Maximum memory size for your camera is 256MB (according to the manual). However, some users claim that the camera can support up to 512MB. To be safe, just use a 256MB card.

Good luck and have a nice day!

To change the size of the virtual memory paging file
You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from completing this procedure.
  1. Open System in Control Panel.
  2. On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
  3. On the Advanced tab, under Virtual memory, click Change.
  4. Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file you want to change.
  5. Under Paging file size for selected drive, click Custom size, and type a new paging file size in megabytes in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, and then click Set. If you decrease the size of either the initial or maximum page file settings, you must restart your computer to see the effects of those changes. Increases typically do not require a restart.
Note:
  • To open System, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click System.
  • To have Windows choose the best paging file size, click System managed size.
  • For best performance, do not set the initial size to less than the minimum recommended size under Total paging file size for all drives. The recommended size is equivalent to 1.5 times the amount of Ram on your system. Usually, you should leave the paging file at its recommended size, although you might increase its size if you routinely use programs that require a lot of memory
  • To delete a paging file, set both initial size and maximum size to zero, or click No paging file. Microsoft strongly recommends that you do not disable or delete the paging file.
