Click start control panel administrive tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in one box then select check now start or you might tick one box then return after its finished the first repair then return and tick the second box
(I have found better results ticking the first box then reurn and tick the second box) you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage this drive also you might need to do this

hope this helps

You can insert drive into computer, take note of the drive letter, right click on drive and pick option to format. HP also has a free utility for formatting pen drives(link below)

Kingston Data Traveler 2.0 64 GB USB - file system corrupted - need to work on windows XP- Upon formatting the pen drive It shows that it has become a raw drive - wat is the file format for the USB to work...

Theoretically, you can't format a more than 32 GB drive with FAT/FAT32 file system. In your case you have to choose the NTFS file system to format your 64 GB USB flash drive. However, if you really need to format it with FAT32, you got to use the command line or a third party tool. Hope this is going to help you.

I'm using a kingston 16 gb pendrive and when i'm copying some data or mp3 file on it some work's and other get currupted pls.. help

Many times the pen drive can not be formatted or is not detected. If these problems occur and according to what you describe,The pen drive you are using has corrupted memory sectors. Its of no good use, if under warranty, go for a exchange from the service support or else Buy a new pen drive.
