Sagem PVR 6280 Freeview DTV Receiver / 40-Hours Video Recorder Logo

We are missing a number of channels including all ITV and Channel 5 since the retune yesterday. I have a Sagem PVR 6600T I have tried to do the automatic channel scan at least 6 times and each time they download differently with a different channels missing.

I had same problem, first reset to factory default (code should be 1234) then keep trying the auto tune. It took me about 10 goes over different days since wedn 30th, managed to get all channels last night 1st Oct.

I have tried to retune my tevion lcd 1507id because of the change in the granada area. The tv retuned but i have no itv, channel4 or channel 5

These will have been rolcated to a different channel number. You can select the programme guide & scroll through all the channels until you find thier new location number, then you could either take note of these new numbers or go into the set up menu where you can re-arrange the channel numbers back to 4/5 etc or set them on your favourites listings

I have tried retuning digi box and now i have no bbc channels what do i do next have tried rebooting it and it makes no difference also tried at least 12 times to retune still get no bbc channels

The Sagem PVR 6280 is specifically listed as a model which will have problems with the retune. Although the Sagem PVR 6200 and 6200t are not specifically listed as problem models they are very closely related to the 6280/6240 models and share most of the same firmware and software.

Lost BBC channels on my SAGEM PVR6200T during a retune


You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW. See the following link for additional information

We have a Thompson box in the lounge and until recently we had a Technix box in the conservatory. Both gave full coverage and good quality until a few weeks ago, when the Technix box gave very poor quality...

Can you try a non-working box in the Thompson box's location in the lounge? If you swap the boxes in the lounge and they both work normally then you must suspect that the cable supplying the conservatory must be the problem.
