I have a whirlpool bath with jets but although the power is still on when I push the button nothing happens. Any idea why? Could it be a blocked filter we are in a hard water area and so have lots of limescale.

Kohler led lighting and jacuzzi motor + jets stopped working but automatic line clearing air still blows when tub is emptied.

Air Switch Repair
It sounds like you have a bad air switch located in your motor.
The air switch is what the air hose connects to on the back of the motor or on the box on top of the motor. The other end of the air hose is connected to the air button on the lip of the tub.
This is a latching air switch and when you push the air button it latches to send power to the motor. When the air button is pushed again it opens the latch in the air switch and stops power going to the motor shutting it off.

I pushed the button down to start the jets and it got stuck all the way down and won't come up

When an air button does not come up after being pressed down it is a classic sign that the button needs to be changed. This happens when one of a couple things happen:
  1. The bellows in the air button have broken and therefor cannot push the button back up.
  2. There is calcium built up on the inside of the button
  3. You can clean up the calcium deposits with emery cloth

American standard jet bath tub black particles coming out of jets

The problem you are experiencing is common to many jetted bathtubs. It is a result of dried bathing water in the tub. There are a couple of solutions to resolve this ongoing problem.
  1. Use your tub more frequently as the water will not have time to fester in the pipes.
  2. Use a cleaning solution made for cleaning the pipes on jetted bathtubs once every three months.

You find Cleaning and Maintenance Products for jetted tubs at the following website. US Parts Center

Need to find out why 2 of the 6 jets on my acer swirl bath tub don't push water out like the other 4, and where can I find replacement jets. We bought the home recently and it was built in 2000. so...

see if the jet faces turn at all. Sometimes the jets are adjustable to allow more pressure from some jets.
turn the face of the jet and see what happens.

I have a whirlpool bath in my master bath in my mobile home, years ago my grandson pushed the button to activate the jets without water in the tub, it hasn't worked since, yesterday I had a friend who is...

the air switch should be connected to a switch by the motor the air switch is ur on off and should run from the button to another switch by motor the air switches were put in so there was not live wiring by the tub surface ,the the tub button/switch is like a bellows and pushes air into tube to turn switch on/off
