Magnavox 15MF605T/17. The screen is black with a blue box in the center of the screen that says "Attention No Video Input". After about 10 seconds the TV turns off. The TV is about 2 years old.
I've got the same problem on a 1 year old Magnavox TV. Checked all the cables. Worked fine about 5 hours ago, and did not adjust/touch cables or settings.I've got the same problem on a 1 year old Magnavox TV. Checked all the cables. Check your input cabling and connectors and make sure you have a good input signal. Put another tv on this same input cable and see what happens. Keever

What is your TV source? If you are using the component input, check if you have two of the video signal wires mixed up between the source and the TV. I have gotten black and white when blue and green were swapped. If your source is over the air TV from a low-power NTSC station, you might see a black and white from a weak signal.
check the connections in the back of the tv. If you are using a cable/satellite box, what sort of cable connects it to your tv? If HDMI then you should have sound and video thought that one cable. If component (5 plugs in total red, green, blue, and audio red/white) make sure the red green and blue plugs are seated in all the way on both the tv and the cable box.
Try to turn it on with a remote if one is available. If you don't have the original remote you can look up the universal code for the cable or satellite remote. Also try to turn it on with the input source(vcr, video game, cable box,etc...) on first. I have the same TV and if it has no signal prior to manual power up it will go to standby mode.
