Possible unbalanced load in the washer. I have found this to be the case in other types of top load washers. Just redistribute the load the try again. If this works, washer is doing what it needs to do to keep from spinning madly out of control and extending its life!
This is a Failed to Lock Code. Check the seal at the lock to see if something is in the way or blocking it. Overloading or having too many clothes in the way will also cause the door to fail to seat correctly. Generally however the lock mechanism needs to be replaced or reseated as it is no longer making contact with the control board.
Door latch could be messed up from the large load//do you here the door lock when you start it ? if door is locking and basket is not turning at all even for adjitation then it is most likely the motor control board that board is located at the bottom of washer remove lower kick plate.if you inspect that board you may find a burnt spot. that can be caused from the overload of the motor /check those things let me know how you make out..good luck and thanks for voting
The lock solenoid on the door latch assembly may be hanging up or just noisey. If washer starts and runs then all is ok. If washer wont start, just buzzes, then door latch assembly may have to be changed.
I need to know if there is any error codes . This machine is known to have a control board problem at the dl3 connector . dl stands for door lock . or the door lock its self is not working . listed for it trying to lock . If it makes a sound like a buzz its the door lock. if it doesn't it is the main control board.
It is the door lock that may be broken, that's what happened with my maching last summer. The lock is made of plastic if you can imagine. So if you slam the door it can break. A washing machine gets wear and tear how can closing a door be owners fault?
This is a crappy machine in terms of maintenance, it is a maintenance nightmaire!!
