Yes I figured it out all by me self. Just need some elbow grease to pull on the bonnet tabs that are snapped onto the bassinet. All clean and back together. The bonnet isn't dirty but if I want to clean it one of these days I will take out the stitches clean it and then decide if I can Velcro it back in place or hand stitch it. The connection on the bonnet is riveted on so not an easy fix.
Thanks for checking up on me.

Sun shade

I got this from the manual. I attached pictures from the old and new model for the peg peregeo Viagggio. Once the canopy is off you should be able to remove the fabric, just make sure to use the care instructions if you are going to wash it.

Dismantleing canopy

If this is for the Graco Snugride (I have the Windsor model from the Quattro Travel System), this will work:

1. Push the Graco canopy to one side, exposing the plastic support bars that hold the canopy in place.

2. The center of the support is where the canopy comes apart. Using both hands, pull the canopy support
bar apart (as if you were playing tug-of-war). It's best to grab the curved ends and pull HARD (and point it away to the side so that you don't hit your face).

3. Once the support bars are apart, remove the old Graco canopy and slip on the new/freshly washed canopy.

4. Secure the support bars by snapping them shut, and then slide the canopy into place.

Cosco Eddie Bauer Stroller Canopy

the lower frame bar locks the canopy onto the frame. Remove this and remove the brackets from the frame. drill out the rivit on one side (take note of the location of the snap and washers) and then remove the frame from the bracket and canopy. you then use a 1 inch 5/32 rivit to reassemble.

Removing Canopy

I don't know what brand you have, but if you look on the inside of the holders for the canopy, there should be a little plastic tab holding the hooked end of the canopy frame in place.  Use a small screwdriver to lift the tab up enough so you can slide the hook out.  Once you have it out, remove the canopy and wash away.
