I wish all buildings were handicapped accessible. My apartment complex has many situations that aren't accessible (or their definition is way off). They might have handicapped parking and ramps, but they have stairs on the sidewalks leading up to some of the buildings. I'm in a building that does not have stairs on one side (my side), but they refused to replace the threshold so that I could get into the apartment easier.
First, restart your phone. That's good to do every once in a while anyway.
If that doesn't work, check the little switch on the left side above the volume controls if it's red it means it's on silent mode. Is that okay too?
Then go to "Settings" and "Do Not Disturb" check that it is not set to "Manual" or that it is scheduled for times that you don't want to receive calls. If you don't use the "Do Not Disturb" function, then change "Allow Calls From" to "Everyone".
You can also check the "Assistive Touch" settings under "Accessibility". Turn all of that off -- these are complex tools for handicapped people.

HI,
If the Mac is saying everything you do it is because the "Voiceover" options for handicapped people is set to "ON."
Quick fix:
Hold down the apple key (the one next to the space bar) and hit the F5 key. This toggles Voiceover on an off.
The detailed way which allows you access to set all handicapped preferences:
1. Go to and open Preferences.
2. Choose "Speech."
3. Click on "Text to Speech."
4. Click on "Open Universal Access Preferences."
5. Click on "Seeing" if it is not already selected.
6. Under "Voiceover" check the circle by "OFF"
