Ds saying file write error

My daughter has only had her ds for one day when after charging it she could not get in to any of the games in the N-Card. It just says file write error. Thanks

    i have a ds fire card and i deleted some games off it n put some more on i was playing on it then i turned it off then turned it bak on later n said file write error on all the games n wont let me play them?

    I was downloading games on my ds and one day i went to play it it came up file write error. i have tried everything i can think of.

    I create the game and I click when I finished the project of create file...



    And this says me the CMD file:

    If says, he can´t make the file

To be short:
- Connect the DS to a PC via USB
- Select USB mode
- Via MS Explorer, select the card and delete all the savegames on the card (.SAV)
- go into your DSYSTEM directory and delete the LASTSAVE.sdb and restart the Ncard

Thats it. Cause is probably a bad saveby one of the installed games. I've had the issue with FIFA 2007.

Its cos u put a corrupt game on.Once played it wont let u play any others till u take off.Will b the game wi 2 v 's on end of sav file.......

If you having trouble with files try reformatting your ds console it worked for me

Since it's brand-new I suggest bringing it back to the store for help. Someone in the video game section should be able to diagnose (in person) whether it needs to be repaired or replaced.

Unable to read sd card
Hi grecko, Hope this helps, I've just bought a 4gb memory card for my daughter's ds so she can fit 58-60 games instead of 28 on a 2gb memory card and have downloaded and put a file onto the memory card before loading games onto it.

Supercard DS one have a site where you can download the files you need and it gives help. Guess it's the same if using an R4 supercard too but I bought an R4 card for partner preloaded with software.

Nintendo ds card says "file write error!" to every game...
i connect my micro sd card to my pc through a usb card reader, i guess you may do similar. with mine once connected it automatically pops up a window that is the sd card, i guess the same with u or u go through the menu/my computer to find it, well once there wen i right click on my mouse while in the sd card window one of the options i get is th format, it should b quite easy and hopefuly, usually sorts glithes, hope it works 4 u.

Ds does not recognise R4
Try eject, blow into the port then reinsert. There is a possibility that your ds has blocked the r4 from being used on that ds.

N-card error
Depending on what type of card you have, you need to go to the appropriate website and download the latest software files.If the card takes a memory card you may also find formatting the card with the fat 32 system more reliable and this may get rid of the Open fat error also.
