I've changed my battery on my casio g-shock dw 003 but the illuminator no longer works! why?

Every 60 seconds or every 60 minutes? Do you see 'PS' for low power, power saving on the screen. How new is the battery?

Use the manual. Read the section about changing the Time Zone. TYO is for Tokyo. To download the manual you need the module number, a 4-digit code on the back of the watch.

you had to reset it by shorting it, it is located inside your watch. or push all the buttons at the same time. i hope i had been helped you.

mcdevito75 here, Casio uses an LCD crystal, Liquid Display Crystal, during a battery change any, any un do pressure remopveing or replaceing the battery could destroy the LCD. Take my advise, with a casio watch, look for a small watch repair shop in your area for the battery change. I"ve ruined many of my casio watches during battery change.

Go to the casio web site "casio.com".

Select "support" and the "manuals", watches;

Accept terms

Select "watch manual archive"

Read the number of the back of your watch and enter it into the search box

I don't think your watch has this sort of option. You can find out yourself by finding CASIO watch manual link in my tips.

This happened to mine, couldn't get a spring anywhere. But managed to fix it by using a staple which I cut to size, Works fine now.
