I just got given a job polishing floors, I have never done this job before, At one store they have one pad that is red, they have a chemical thats yellow called floor polish do I mix this chemical with water & mop it over the floor like you are mopping the normally then use the buffer ? You didn't strip enough wax with your mop, and now the old wax is plugging your floor polisher pad. Then the old wax starts to stick back to the floor. Flip the pad over and use the fresh side until it starts to stick too. Then soak the stripper pad in a mild soap solution and rinse it out thoroughly. After it dries, it should perform correctly. This is why you need several pads.
