This sounds like your ignitor has gone out. The preheat will work because the valve doesn't have to ignite to heat to 100 degrees, but whent he unit is ready to ignite, the gas can't ignite it. I have this Matag Gemini Precision Touch double oven when using the upper oven to bake, the lower overn will not preheat above 290 degrees. When I turn the top oven off it preheats just fine. I thought I would be able to use both ovens at the same time???
