I am doing research on the psp and i need help finding the information i need..can you help me?

#1 - If its a video that has an unsupported file format for the PSP, It will never play until you convert it to a supported format. For ex: the notebook.mkv, ironman.avi, etc... Look for free video converters for PSP on google, I'm pretty sure you will find one. Process is the same for music.

#2 - If its a downloaded game, you will need to flash your PSP console in order to play it (Research in google, you will find some useful information). Flashing enables all kinds of games (downloaded), Be WARNED, flashing can really hurt your system if you don't know what you are doing. It can even cause your system to be unusable.

i take you have hacked your psp.

through some research i have found that psp; 1000 and 2000
are alot easyier to hack, however the psp3000 after hacking you can not switch your psp console off otherwise you will have you re-hack it.

if you have got a hacked psp with the hack still working then try formatiing your stick and trying again.

if you have the psp-go then i am sorry to inform you that i have no knowledge on that model. but i suggest you opening a new problem stating with greater detail

E.G. i have a psp go, i have tried putting games onto it via my datastick but they dont seem to being showing. what can i do to fix this?

This is called bricked PSP as you can use your PSP as brick; you may want to do more research on this. It's very difficult to find a solution for this problem.

welll... i didnt tell you this but try torrents you can usually get a good rip from there. but then your gonna need to do some research on what type of file ext your gonna need to run it on a psp. more then likely a .iso file. but i didnt tell you this cuz its perfectly legal :D

Hi,

1st your PSP needs to hacked to a custom firmware, follow these procedures;


1. Since you can download directly to your PSP memory stick, you'll have to download to your computer and further transfer to your PSP memory stick.

2. You'll have to modify the PSP from the official version to a custom version. You can find out how to do this by typing in this search "How to hack PSP to custom firmware"

You can now do the following to transfer and play games;




a. Get a good memory stick. I recommend that you get a Memory Stick Duo in at least a 1 GB size, though a 2 GB is even better.


b. Find and download the PSP games you want. If you don't know where to find the games try a download service. A good one will let you have unlimited downloads for a small one-time fee. You can see the link below for more information.


c. Unzip the game files and save them somewhere that you can find them easily, like your desktop.


d. Plug your PSP USB cable into your PSP and your computer.


e. For PSP games- go the the root directory on your PSP then make a folder called ISO. (If you downloaded PSOne games, go to the root directory on your PSP and find the folder called PSP/GAME.)


f. Copy the PSP game files into the ISO folder. (Copy PSOne game files into the PSP/GAME folder.)


Once this is done you can now play games on your PSP.

The above mention technique would help you unlock your PSP and the cheat codes.

There is no CFw 4.05m33 update, Dax not created it.!! The latest update for PSP Cfw is 5.00m33. You can find it by googling or see at my blog here!.

To change your psp from 4.05 official firmware you'll need pandora - magic stick (latest update DC7), because since high kernel released, cfw can be installing from 1.50 OF and 3.52 for fat(old model) psp.. and 3.60 for slim psp as starting point.
