I have wifi connection but no web page apears

I have exact the same problem, did you find any solution?

If you don't have a WIFI connection then you don't have internet. The only way to have internet without wifi is with a data plan from you provider.

Depending upon where (in your home?) you use your Sony Vaio laptop (via WiFi?) you may need a WiFi booster or extender. Or, you may find that moving your WiFi router to another location in your home will improve your connection without diminishing the connections for other laptops used in your home.

your phone driver is out of date you will be running v10e and you need v10g driver click on this link and go to the lower part of the page were there is a phone software update tab. When i try to turn on my wifi my Lg Renoir restarts ! Any suggestions on how to solve this ?

i had the same problem with my 910 , i rang my service provider and they text me the codes and software to load directly onto my phone , problem fixed straight away !

Me too , i found out that for some reason the phone decides to switch back to hsdp , or gprs depending on signal strength all on its own even though there is a wifi connection there and then starts downloading web stuff over this connection instead of using your wi fi connection. I complained to t mobile , but was told that it wasnt there problem that the phone chooses to use that connection as preffered option and said i had to pay up.
Interestingly the phone i got came in a t mobile box not a renoir plain box and is of course locked to the t mobile network and has t mobile software in it so i guess its been tampered with to maximise t mobiles profits. Here Is an option Ring t mobile up and demand to get internet services turned off t your phone, of course you will loose google maps while out and about , but i never used them at all and you can always find a wireless hot spot to connect to if you need to collect emails and stuff . After doing this my bills fell by three quarters and i am not being duped into paying huge phone bills when i am not given the choice to say yes or no.(Hope This helps)
