I have a Mitsubishi WD-62525 TV with a Blue Ray DVD player hooked up to it. When I play a standard DVD, the picture is fine but if I play a Blue Ray DVD the picture is scrambled. I hooked the same DVD...

Might be tuned to the wrong output. The big tv has more than one input and is select able. Is there a blue ray selection for TV or input for that device.

When I try to play a DVD through the player the on screen picture has a scrambled look sort of like when your DIrectv signal begins to go due to a storm. I changed players and tried a different

A few questions for you that might narrow down the issue.

Where is DVD connected at?

Have you tried it on all rear inputs?

Where is Direct Tv connected to at the set and does it work normally?

If input it (the player) works with something else connected (rules out the input used) then I would suspect some setting in the players (identical model brand?) is set wrong.

Why is picture scrambled on my memorex dvd mvd2016

The MVD is a progressive scan DVD player if your TV is 1080i or shows interlaced images only and doesnt have the option for progressive scan this would be an issue. I would suggest trying this DVD player on another television first. Also what is the model of your television?

Another issue is if you have and HD TV and are hooking up the A/V jacks to the HD component inputs this would also provide a jumbled picture. It would be a good idea to check and make sure that the A/V cabled are inserted into the correct input.

No picture when on for approx 15 minutes

It sounds like you are saying the "video looks scrambled but the audio keeps playing OK"

Normally this is a Video Processor Problem that requires a Board to be replaced.

When the problem happens, can you see the TV menu or the TV's On Screen Display clearly.

I suggest checking to see if the problem happens with the video inputs like, Composite(yellow/red/black), component(RGB/yellow and black), HDMI and S-video. If it happens to all inputs then you need to replace a board.

TV picture scrambled and getting worse

This can be a fault in the tuner, IF, or primary part of the video processing. With age and use some of the parts, and especialy capacitors, in these sets can become thermo sensitive and unstable.

To service these types of faults can be very time consuming. On top of this would be the cost of the parts.

Considering the age and type of set that you have, I would suggest that it is time to be looking for a new set.

Scrolling picture after being on for around two minutes

You need a serious internal Detail cleaning of your PS2. The circuit for Video is evidently getting shorted out from dust and grime. Click on the "Repair Directory" link at the bottom of this page. Then on the next page Click on "Video Game Consoles". This will gi ve you a list of repair shops to do this for you. It is very complicated to do.

It may be that the tape you are trying to record from is copy-protected. You will then get a "scrambled" picture
