Need driver for panasonic nv-gs27

You might be connecting the Camcorder using USB interface. The drivers for USB streaming is not available for Vista and Windows 7..
Operating System also matters..
If you're using XP OS, you can install the driver from supplied CD and use Windows Movie Maker to transfer the recordings using USB interface.
Vista, Windows 7 - You need to use i.LINK or A/V interface to transfer the recording. When using i.LINK with Vista, you can use the Picture Motion Browser software.
I think this will definitely help you to connect the Camcorder..

I've intalled a copy of windows vista Satellite

Hello,

visit the website of your laptop. (Take for instance, if your laptop is hp, visit www.hp.com) Once you are able to open the site, go to the download and software section of the site, you will be asked to enter your laptop name and model, select your operating system (Win Vista) and continue.

You will see a complete list of your laptop driver for windows vista.

I hope you understand my explanations.

Take care.

I have picture package 1.5 but when i want to convert the tape to cd, i can not select the source and target is there a patch for this ? This for DCR-HC32 E Also i have now bought a new laptop which has...

The supplied Picture Package software is not compatible with the Vista Operating System.

Option 1:

If you want to use the USB cable to connect the Camera to the Computer to transfer the video to the Computer then:

(Applicable for Vista Operating System Only.)

This Camcorder does not support USB streaming with the VISTA Operating System. Use an i.LINK cable to transfer the video to the Computer. The i.LINK port is also called IEEE 1394 or Firewire port. (An i.LINK is a black D shaped connector with 4 or 6 pins. The type of cable to be used will depend on the i.LINK port of your Computer. The Sony Camcorder will have the 4 pin i.LINK cable and if the computer has the 6 pin i.LINK port, then you may have to use the 4 pin to 6 pin i.LINK Cable).

You can use any video capturing software like Windows Movie Maker to transfer the video from the Camcorder to the Computer.

Refer this Link for the instruction to transfer the video to the Computer using i.LINK cable.

http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/documentLink.do?externalId=C111893

NOTE: As the Camcorder does not support USB streaming with Vista, it is not required to use any Sony Device Driver to transfer the video to the Computer. You do not require any Drivers or Software from Sony to transfer the video from the Camcorder to the Computer using the i.LINK/Firewire interface.

Option 2:

(Applicable for Windows XP Operating System only):

If you are using a Windows XP Operating System then you have to install the USB Streaming Driver in the Computer from the supplied Software disk with the Computer.

Check this Link for the instruction to transfer video to a Computer using USB Streaming.

http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/documentLink.do?externalId=C222820

If you do not have the supplied Software disk then I suggest that you use the i.LINK cable to transfer the video.

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Information Transfer

It will be hard for you to transfer through wire. You can just use a USB or Ethernet but it would be easier to just burn a CD or put it on a thumb (flash) drive
