Did you set up a port to connect through if not you need to set one on the port your DVR needs and forward it. It is called port forwarding.

I can't seem to remotely connect and view my lorex cameras. What am i doing wrong...it was working fine till I got Verizon FIOS

You may need to reopen the ports necessary for the Lorex to be available for remote viewing. You should be able to look at the function on the Lorex menu to get the port numbers, then call Verizon to have them forward the ports. Without port forwarding, your video stream is being blocked at the Verizon FIOS Modem.

Does the lorex dvr support my MAC os on my pc

Hi Kavya,
Which model of Lorex DVR are you using? Currently, only some of our security DVRs are compatible with Mac OS X (via Safari). Our line of Edge and EDGE+ DVRs (LH300 Series) are Mac compatible and offer full remote viewing, playback, backup, and setup using Safari.
Please give us a call at 1-888-42-LOREX(56739) or visit us online at www.lorextechnology.com

CAN A 2WIRE DSL ROUTER WORK WITH A CABLE INTERNET CONEECTION

The 2wire dsl modem/router cannot be use with a another cable modem , since this 2wire device is also a modem/router and its made for the DSL conenction that's why it wont work with Cox cable, the best thing that you can do is to ask Cox to give a wireless modem/router like this 2wire so you can still use the wireless connection of your computer..

Hope that helps..........
