I have a 16 months old Nokia 6270. Its left select key doesnt work. Im experiencing this problem since the begining i.e. 3/4th month after the purchase. I got it repaired few times.
But now phone is out of warrenty period, company says that they are not bound to repair it. Will you please provide possible solution to repair it on my own?
or if i cant, is there any way to erase all purchase/warrenty info. from the phone so that phone wont be detected as "void of warrenty" under their warrenty-check scanner?

Open the phone and clean the motherboard with isprophyl alcohol dry the phone with with a hair dryer put the phone together if key pad is paset ,paset it out clean the gold turnished with isoprpphyl alcohol dry the pohne it will work. advise by dogy.
Did u try to get the phone software reflash....that sounds like a software problem not a hardware issue
