I am getting the error code number E 000732-0001 on my IRC 2620N Canon printer

it show exposure lamp blown or bad contact, open upper cover and check for possible connection for the lamp for replace if possible.

That is a scan lamp error on all Canons that I know of. Check continuity on the lamp. Then check the in line fuse. It could also have a shorted scan cable.

This error code indicates a communication problem between two electrical modules. The most common solution is to turn off the machine and then disconnect the flat cable that plugs into the back of the reader assembly (behind and below the document feeder), the connector has a button either side of it which both need to be squeezed to remove the connector. Check both ends of the cable and disconnect and reconnect it. Turn back on the power and if this was the comm error your problem will go away. If not, then try disconnecting all of the interconnecting cables between the machine and peripherals.

If none of the above works then you have an internal comms error and possibly a firmware error which will need to be upgraded by a technician.

this code is for a bad OHP sensor, wich detects transprerencies.

this error is related to exposure lamp , does the the two end of the lamp is blackened. Otherwise the exposure lamp needs replacement

ok that code has nothing to do with your drums that code is for a error in the fuser unit, you have to reset it in this order ADD FUNC key// then hold down the 2 & 8 keys at the same time / then ADD FUNC key again... screen should change to serv mode.... then in this order.touch copier/func/clear/err. ok turn off copier then back on... if code comes back you have a bad fuser unit swap it out clear the code again then try the new unit
