Remove the battery and to the power cord.
Remove the two screws that secure the keyboard. After removing the keyboard, remove the battery “RTC” to stop providing energy to epprom BIOS. After the upgrade or downgrade, or any repair, leave the Laptop for 5 minutes, without any source of energy.
Then connect only the power cord without battery and without the battery “RTC” of the Bios. then turn on the laptop press f10 change passwords and save changes and exit, put back battery then reconect the rtc battery and done reinstall xp done

HP NX 6310 bluetotooth is disabled. This device has been disabled in Windows Device Manager. To enable this device, use Windows Device Manager. More information... How do I enable it ?

right click on My computer and open manage
then a new window opens
in this new window you can see a panel on left side
just click on device manager in that panel
then a list of devices opens up
select your bluetooth device hardware, right click an it and enable it

My hp compaq nx 6310 has windows 7 and it cant find a hdd during xp installation

The reason why the Windows XP cannot find the SATA hard disk in the installation process is because XP does not have a SATA driver on the installation CD.

My hp nx 6310 cannot shut down. if you shut the machine down i restarts itself instead of switching off. what is the solution?? i have changed the hard disk and memory chip but the problem is still there....

Could be the power options in the bios and/or operating system (Control panel).

HP 6310 carriage jam then a message to shut down

If the 6310 has been in service for awhile, the printhead runner dries out. Try liberally spraying the printhead runners with WD-40. With the power off, slide the carriage to the left and spray the runners in the parking area.

if ur using xp then press ctrl alt del key unless if ur not given an password will not given to the admin user other wise only thing is u have reinstall it
