Display Resolution for Acer Aspire 6930-6455

Hi Pat, Please Click on Start >> Control Panel >> Display >> Adjust resolution.

Click Start/Control Panel and look for Display or Appearance and Personalization. Open the display and click Settings and you can change the screen resolution by sliding the bar over. The higher the resolution, the smaller the icons. Normal resolution is about 1024x768.

Depending on your operating system you might see link for Screen Resolution without actually opening the display.

your system is resolution is out please set resolution for other lcd 800/600 and solve the problem

On a 17ins monitor the best resolution is 1024x768 regardless of whether it tells you a different "recommended" display resolution.

Just ignore any warning it gives you and it should work very well with the resolution i've told you, just use the slider to select the 1024x768.

Go to Control Panel,Display,Display Settings and change to your desired screen resolution.Normally the display resolution for acer is 1366x768.

You can fix this problem by changing the screen resolution. Go into Control Panel - Display - Settings and change the screen resolution to something lower. Try setting it to 1024X768.

First boot in safe mode and the display resolution will be minimal if the screen appears ok with big fonts then try and adjust the normal resolution but not high resolution like 640x480 with 256 colors, if it works then you acer laptop screeen is fine but the exactly display drivers to be reloaded else there is a problem with your laptop screen which needs to be replaced

This problem can be caused by not having installed the correct video driver.
OR
The screen resolution needs to be set higher.

Go to Control Panel - Display - Settings and change the Screen resolution to 1024X768 or higher. If you can't change the screen resolution then most likely you need to install or re-install the video driver.

You get the audio from PC: you must use a separate audio cable to your TV audio input.
Configure your PC Display properties to a lower resolution until you reach a format your tv can display.
If you use a flat digital screen check the manual to know the resolution to be used with VGA input.
Use Dual screen option or swittch main screen/external/both using FN key + blue key showing screen on your keyboard. (F4 or F7? check manual.)
