Rough low throttle on Lawnboy Dura Force Pro 6.5

I just picked up a Lawnboy Dura Force Pro 6.5 (10323). It starts easy and appears to run well at full throttle but low throttle is a bit sensitive; It's difficult to keep a strong low idle and replacing the spark plug had little effect. I was advised to clean or replace the inline fuel filter before attempting to adjust the carb settings but I do not see any inline filter. Is there such a filter on this model? If so, where is it located and can you also point out where the carb adjustment screws are? Are they be adjusted with the engine running or not running? Is there a carb cleaning fuel additive for these two cycle engines? Excuse the simple questions but I am not familiar with Lawn Boy mowers and do not have a manual or engine schematic. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Go to the Lawn-Boy Service & Support site to get a manual.
http://www.lawnboy.com/productinfo/mowers/index.html
The procedure should be in the operators manual.
Seafoam gas additive is a good one.

Sir, what is the starting adjustments on a Poluan 2000 Carb

Typical for any carburetor is 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 turns (out). These are just rough settings to get the saw running. Remove chain, turn idle throttle speed screw in to increase idle rpms so its less likely to stall. Follow mfg instructions for starting.

Once running, adjust low speed mix and allow a couple minutes to warm. Then re-adjust low speed and lower idle rpms by turning out idle throttle speed screw. Then with throttle wide open adjust high speed mix. If saw hesitates from idle to full throttle, open low speed mix 1/8 turn and readjust high speed mix.

If saw doesn't fire in 3 or 4 pulls remove plug. If plug is dry no fuel, if wet either no spark or idle mix to rich (or fuel metering may be fouled).

Husqvarna 125 BV how to adjust carb screws, yes I can turn them but how to start all the way in on both screws

I would think that the screws have limiter caps, so you cannot turn them all the way in.
1) put both screws at the maximum you can turn them out
2) start and warm up the engine
3) at idle speed, turn the L needle in till the engine speeds up (by itself) and then starts to lower rpms.
4) from that point, turn the L needle back out till engine raises and then lowers. Leave the screw in a setting that the engine sounds a little rough
5) use the same procedure with the H screw (at full throttle)
6) now throttle up from idle
does the engine pick up quickly? settings are good
does the engine stumble and then finally begin to pick up?
Then turn the H out about 1/4 turn. If needed for rough but smooth running, turn the H out again another 1/4 turn.
*Please Note: 2cycle engines should ALWAYS sound just a little rough at full rpms. NEVER adjust a carburetor so that the engine 'screams', you will not have an engine for very long at that condition.

How to tune and adjust carb settings on Lawnboy 2 cycle, 6.5 Duraforce slver pro engine? Throttle appears good at high throttle position but is not smooth throughout range and rough at low throttle...

First remove the inline fuel filter in the tank and replace it, before adjusting the carburetor. Also Be sure the linkage from the governor and to the engine has not broken or fallen off, next check the fuel pump bulb by removing the air cleaner and pushing the bulb in if you see a stream of fuel each time you push the button it's fine otherwise the check valve may be dirty and you will have to clean it to fix the problem. Also make sure the air cleaner is clean. After you check these items then you can adjust the fuel mixture screws turning the air mix valve firs and getting the motor to smooth out at low speed. Turn 1/8 of a turn at a time till you get the desired running range. Also check that the spark plug is nor dirty if it is clean and re-gap it if the electrode is worn out then replace the plug.
