Thats call keystone. That happen when projector is not properly align with screen. Most of projectors come with digital keystone corrector in the menu settings. Ensure is setup to 0 and check lens of the projector is at the center of the screen. Also if the projector is too high or too low will cause that problem too. Just move it arround until you find the right place to mount it. Best of luck
Recently had a similar issue. When I took the lamp out (Let it cool for awhile first), there was dust all over one side preventing air from the fans from cooling the lamp, so it shut itself off after getting too hot.
One if the small LCD panels inside has dead/stuck pixels. There are 3 individual panels that make up red, green and blue.
Dust has entere the system and is sitting on the back of the polariser. This is a thin colour film ontop of the small LCD panel that sends the right colour light through the LCD.
If it's the first one, then it will be covered under warranty.
If it is the second they will normally cover it under warranty since their dudst filters have failed to keep the dust out of the projector.
Call the number in the back of your user manual for your area and they will arrange it all with you from there.
