Sorry about my last reply I just saw your model.

I have found that some older microwaves (the cheaper ones like under $250 au) use sub standard parts. The heating motor in these units simply wear out. Honestly it would be cheaper to go out and buy a new cheap unit than to get it repaired as the parts for these units are very expensive.
These items are clasified as disposable units. Where to but a new unit may cost $200 anf the replacement part may cost $150 and then you have the cost of labor of a Microwave specialist installing it. Which I would not attempt yourself as if it is not installed correctly or the unit not put back together correctly could cause harmful microwave leaks during operation.

HITACH MIcrowave MCE30

There are large transformers that supply the high voltage needed for the microwave to work. They are normally what goes when they stop working. You need a high voltage meter to check them. A tech. that is equipped for microwave oven repair may be your best bet.

My microwave does not heat up, although it rotates and the light is on.

I take it, it is a combined machine. There is a clear fault with the heating element. Does your grill still work? You will need to get a part fitted from a microwave repairer or you may find it cheaper to simply replace the unit altogether.

Microwave blows fuse in microwave mode grill function ok

It is most likely the capacitor has shorted or the rectifier has shorted. Check with ohmeter, but make sure it is discharged first by shorting the capacitor with a wire.

Emerson Microwave Oven and Grill

The micro wave part is not working in your oven. It is mainly due to to the defect in the magnetron and the related components like high voltage side fuse and high voltage diode etc. you can check the fuse and the diode with a multimeter. If they are ok replace the magnetron.

Help, my Panasonic NNA724M Combination Oven will no longer microwave. I can set the microwave going but after 20ish seconds the microwave stops and timer is replaced by the clock, without any audible...

This is an inverter model, and when they stop after 20 seconds, it usually means a problem in the high voltage section, either the inverter or the magnetron.

If you don't have experience troubleshooting high voltage inverters, I recommend calling a pro.

DeLonghi combined microwave/grill/oven.

Found this posted in GE instead of DeLonghi but the basics are the same.

You say it stopped working - you mean it runs but doesn't heat?
