I have a Samsung 52" lcd TV, model number LNT5271f. I understand from googling the problem that its most likely bad capacitors on the power supply board. How difficult is the cap replacement and what solder iron wattage would be the best to use?
Thanks,
Steve
Howdy,
Yes, it is very easy to repair. Solder iron wattage should be at least 300 w.
The PSB is the center Board (towards left) after you remove the back off the TV. Remove the shield that covers the Boards and remove Board from TV with the 6-7 screws. Replace capacitors CM852 & CM853; 2200ufd 25volts.
Good Luck, big IRISH.
