Why, when I attempted to print a Word document, did I receive the following message: "Printing cannot be executed because an error is occuring in the printer. Check the printer and clear the error." I have...

Hello
The first thing I tend to do with any fault on a computer or related hardware, is to turn it off, unplug it from the power supply, turn off and unplug the rest of the system components. Wait for a few minutes, plug the equipment back in and turn all components on and then reboot the computer.
If you have already done all this then I suspect that you will need to find out more about the error. You can download various manuals for your machine from here:-
Canon PIXMA MX860
This may give you some idea of the more common errors and how to fix them. If this doesn't work then the ultimate thing to do is to remove the printer and its drivers from the computer and reload the drivers from the disks supplied with the printer.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

Error sc 565 mp c2030

Wait for a few minutes, plug the equipment back in and turn all components on and then reboot the computer. After this I start to look elsewhere for fault diagnosis and repair.
In your case I found a list of codes for your machine here:
Error Codes Ricoh Aficio MPC2030
Here you can view the specific codes by using the drop down menu in the middle of the page. You can also change the make & model of machine by using the drop down menus near the top of the page. Also you can download a pdf format Service Manual for the machine by using the link just above the error table.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

My Sears Limited Edition washer starts the drain pump as soon as you turn it on and the pump keeps running continuously(I can hear it) which doesn't allow the water to fill the tub?As soon as it start

check the drain hose,if it's pushed down the stand pipe to far it will cause a syphoning affect and drain the water out as fast as it goes in,also have you unplugged the washer to reset the computer board?if not unplug it for 5 to 10 minutes, plug it back in and see if it resets itself, any error codes coming up?let me know how you make out.

Need to access the menu

Know what the ->enter BIOS Setup key is?

It's on the bottom of the computer manufacturer logo screen.

Got it?

Now press the CTRL and ALT and DELete keys at the same time.
Restarts the computer.

JUST AS SOON AS IT STARTS, start tapping on the enter BIOS Setup key.
Tap in 2 seconds intervals.

If you hear beeps ignore it. These are Stuck Key Error Code beeps, and it is you that is making them.

Still No?
Turn the computer off by holding the Power On button in, for 10 seconds.
WAIT 20 seconds, then press the Power On button.

AS SOON AS YOU PRESS the Power On button, start tapping on the enter BIOS Setup key. The rest is above.

Regards,
joecoolsvette

[The time period to enter BIOS Setup goes by F-A-S-T!
As soon as you see the computer manufacturer 'splash screen', (Logo screen), it may be TOO late. The above method makes sure you get in BIOS Setup ]

STOP:c00002la {fatal system error}

try this, turn off the computer completely. as soon as you turn on again the computer you will be able to see a screen that shows you the DELL logo, at that screen immediately tap the " F8 " key continuously. if that is successful you should be in the windows advance menu option. use the arrow keys in your keyboard to choose the option of " last know good configuration " and hit enter.

if this doesnt work, try to reinstall the whole operating system including all the drivers. you need to have the operating system cd and the drivers and utilities cd that came with the computer.

but if you are using windows xp then just try this one.
- turn off the computer and let it rest for 10 - 20 secs
- turn on the computer and as soon as you see the dell screen that will flash in your monitor immediately press and hold the " CTRL " key in your keyboard and tap the " F11 " key continuously, if that is successful you will see the dell image factory restore by symantec, choose restore. after that just follow the directions.

(note: if you have files or datas that are important to you then all those files will be lost.)

i hope this helps.

Hi,

Might as well try to power cycle the device meaning disconnect it from the computer , turn off the scanner , unplugged the adapter from the power source and then push on the power button for 5sec so that excess power will be drain and then restart the computer also as soon as your computer boots up connect the scanner .

This sounds familiar; try holding the rest button for an extended time.
May not work but won't hurt anything either.
