Hi,

"F3" on Asko means the machine detected an interuption in the drain sequence. could be as simple as a coin or some other debris causing the fault, but it may be the pump is faulty as well. first things first.

**UNPLUG the unit from the dryer, or from the wall, which ever applies to your set-up**

in the lower left corner on the front of your washer is a "pin catcher/lint filter" for the pump (a pump insert asko calls it). unscrew this insert, clean out whatever is obstructing the pump and you should be fine to continue. unless the pump itself is at fault. **you will need to drain whatever water is in the unit into a drain, or pan thru the little drain line from the pump (refer to your manual if you have access to it).

hope that helps,

good luck

Stop frequently on spin and rinse cycle F6 code

I have a Kenmore Elite he4t front load washer that was working fine and then we moved and now it stops washing midstream and flashes an F and a H. I have to pause and restart then it will stop washing again after a few minutes and flash the same codes again. I reset again and then it stops with 1 minute left and will not drain.

Washer stop in middle of rinse cycle

All content © 2000 © 2009 Washerhelp
> Home / Repairs DIY washing machine advice (part 8) Washing machine sticks or stops mid-cycle repairs-sm.gif A very common fault on washing machines is when the program timer fails to complete the cycle and stops part way through. Many people blame the program timer for this but although it is a possible cause, there are many more likely causes for this fault. The program will stick if the heater isn't working, if the thermostat fails, if it can't fill up with cold water for the rinses, if it can't empty the water etc. There are too many possible causes of this fault to be able to give anything other than rudimentary advice. However, the common causes of a washing machine sticking that can easily be fixed are filling and emptying problems.
Check that the cold water supply is available to the washing machine, which is a common cause for sticking on rinses. If the washing machine appears to stop mid-cycle and isn't filling with water on rinses then see Washing machine won't fill with water (or no water goes into washing machine) before calling an engineer. If the washing machine can't drain the water out then it will stick on the rinses, or it will abort with an error code. If you can see water still inside the washing machine then check the following advice Washing machine won't empty water

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
