Your Mac video program should have or be able to download the appropriate driver for your camcorder when you want to capture the video from it. I have been using Final Cut Pro with no problems with the Canon Optura XI.

Lost install disk for Mac book pro My 13" Mac book

You will need some install disks to even begin working on your issue.
Your options:
  • Find someone with the same model MacBook Pro and borrow the disks.
  • Buy a copy of Leopard (10.5) or Snow Leopard (10.6) and use them. If you are going to buy a set you might as well update to Snow Leopard (10.6)
  • Check eBay for install disks but make sure they are for the same model MacBook Pro.
  • Contact an Apple service center and purchase a replacement set of install disks.
Once you have a install CD, I would recommend backing up your system by making a disk image of the hard drive to an external drive. Then doing a clean install and then using the Migration Assistant to restore your user files to the clean install on your hard drive.

Successfully installing Hyper-Utility2 on my Mac

Hi Paula,

Something that happens with Macs is the file permissions get messed up from installer programs. This problem usually can be corrected by running the disk tools program. It is usually located in your Applications folder in the Utilities sub folder.

You did not specify with version of OSX your Powerbook Pro is running. Make sure you have all the updates from Apple for your OS. You might also need to get an update from Fuji for the Hyper-Utility2 software. That can be found here: Fuji

Lastly, iPhoto is compatible for quick downloads from your camera

I ve a mac, how can I use Bernina software

?· Select and install virtualization software for your MacBook Pro. You can choose from several popular virtualization packages for the Mac, including Parallels Desktop for Mac, VirtualBox and VMware Fusion. VirtualBox is a free, open source software package, while Parallels Desktop and VMware Fusion are commercial software products

?· Install Windows within your virtualization software. You much purchase a copy of the Windows operating system if you do not already own it; it does not come with the virtualization software. Most virtualization software includes a wizard, or assistant, to guide you through the Windows installation. Windows will now run in a "virtual machine" on your MacBook Pro.

?· Install your Bernina Artista Embroidery Software on your virtual Windows system. You install software into the Windows virtual machine the same way you do on a physical PC.

?· Plug the Bernina security dongle into a USB port on your MacBook Pro. The Windows virtual machine acknowledges the dongle, and may ask you if the USB dongle is to be used with the Mac or Windows system. The dongle is a hardware device that provides copy protection for the Bernina embroidery software.

?· Run the Bernina Artista Embroidery Software by choosing it from the Windows Start menu

How can i find ms word on my computer

Thank you for contacting Fixya Support, I will be glad to assist.

In order to find Microsoft Word on your Mac notebook, you have to first know if you purchased a copy of Microsoft Office for Mac 2004 or 2008. If you have purchased either of these versions, then you just need to click on the Finder icon at the bottom left corner of the Dock to open up a new Finder window and then select the Applications folder and look for a Microsoft Office folder.

If you see that folder then you just need to open it and click on the Word icon within that folder.

If you do not locate such a folder, then chances are you may need to either reinstall the copy you have of Microsoft Office for Mac or purchase a copy of the software if you don't recall ever having purchased a copy of the software.

Microsoft Office for Mac is a 3rd party software that does not come fully installed on Macs except for a Trial version which will only remain active for 30 days unless the full version is purchased.

HELP! I have lost my software!

The software for this camera does not work on windows 7 or Vista. If you just purchased a new machine it may not matter if you have the software or not.
  1. Mac driver and Software
  2. Linux driver, sets up automatically - no software
  3. Windows XP and earlier - Driver and Software but have to register.

I purchased WebPlus X2 last year. I recently purchased a MacBook Pro. I need this software for a Mac. Can you help?

Serif's website says that the system requirements for WebPlus X4 (apparently X3 is no longer current) are:
  • Pentium PC with DVD/CD drive and mouse
  • Microsoft Windows® XP (32 bit), Windows®Vista (32 or 64bit), or Windows® 7 operating system
So the first thing to note is that there is no Macintosh version of the software.
That having been said, given that you own a MacBook Pro, you can install Windows on it, and run the software that way.For example, the product at
ComboDealDetails.aspx
includes a discounted copy of both Windows 7 and Parallels, which will allow you to run Windows 7 right alongside your Mac OS. The solution will cost you $140, but it is a very workable, very nice solution when you are forced to use PC software for a course, etc., but own a Mac.

Which operating system do you have? Windows? mac? if it is windows which version? You should not need a lot of software to use the camera as you should be able to connect the camera and see the pictures (mac os 10.4 and windows XP/vista)
You can try going here to see if any of the software will help you:
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=SupportDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=224&modelid=14901#DownloadDetailAct

You will have to select your operating system before it will show you any software otherwise you will only get the manuals.
Hope that helps

Software for applemac

Hi, Well, congratulations on the new Mac upgrade.
You will be pleasantly surprised to hear that there is no mac software for any video camera.......
Because all the necessary software for any and all digital video cameras is built right into the MacOS and the iMovie application and the iPhoto Application.
So, all you have to do is connect your camera to your Mac, using the cable that came with your camera, either firewire or USB turn on the camera and then launch iMovie and the Mac will automatically recognize that a camera is connected and it will ask you if you want to import...

C-150 OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

By connecting the camera to a computer with the provided USB cable,
images on a card can be transferred to the computer. Some OS's (operating
systems) may need a special setup when connecting to the camera for the
first time. Follow the chart below. For details on the procedures in the chart,
refer to the “Reference Manual” on the CD-ROM and the “Software
Installation Guide” (included in the CD-ROM package).
Identifying the OS
Windows 98/98 SE
(Second Edition)
Windows 2000
Professional/Me/XP
Mac OS 9.0 - 9.1/OS X
*OS 8.6: See below.

Connecting the camera to a computer using the provided USB cable
Installing the USB
driver for Windows 98
Confirming the computer recognizes the camera
Downloading image files
Disconnecting the USB cable

Even if your computer has a USB connector, data transfer may not function correctly if
you are using one of the operating systems listed below or if you have an add-on USB
connector (extension card, etc.).
● Windows 95/NT 4.0
● Windows 98/98 SE upgrade from Windows 95
● Mac OS 8.6 or lower (except Mac OS 8.6 equipped with USB MASS Storage support
1.3.5 installed at the factory)
● Data transfer is not guaranteed on a home-built PC system or PCs with no factory
installed OS.
You can view images using: graphics applications that support the JPEG
file format (Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, etc.); Internet browsers (Netscape
Communicator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, etc.); CAMEDIA Master
software; or other software. For details on using commercial graphics
applications, refer to their instruction manuals.
