Sounds like your engine overheated and is siezed. Remove the exhaust muffler and inspect the piston, it should be shiny and oily. You will see if the piston is scored or if the ring is siezed. If this your problem you can replace the piston and cylinder, but it could be expensive. Stephen.

if the piston rings have snapped. as they can do. it can lock the piston in place. and you will need to bore out a piston bore and put in a sleeve and new piston. worst possible thing is the crank has snapped. other possible is the generator motor has seized up making it so the engine will not move.

Dean sings his arms and body move but his mouth does not i saw that someone replace d the string is there a diagram to show the workings of the doll

slide tux collar down and find 4 staples in neck, with small flat screwdriver work stales from neck, they are quite long and it takes some time. then with thumb under mouth at chin, gently wiggle and pull owtwards until mouth slides from head, mouth must be removed before head will lift from neck. once head removed, you will see drive motor near top that drives mouth. there should be a smoll nylon string connected to small plastic wheel on end of this motor, most times the adheasive that hold this string in place has let loose and string is still in tact. before reconnecting press activation button and be sure motor is spinning, if so simply reconnect string to plastic end, and reassemble head I used 2 part epoxy (JB Quick) Note if motor is not turning when activated then this too needs repaired

My pull string wont move on my ryobi x430

Mine seized up and the string wouldn't pull because my girlfriend used it a few times without making sure that the oil was full. I filled the oil well with Marvel Mystery Oil and was able to slowly get the string to move. Eventually the motor became lubricated enough to pull the string with regularity and now the weedeater works perfectly.

Trying to get the spool off. The plastic rig around the nut is gone nut is stripped. I am trying to disassemble from the motor thinking the cable is broken but still can't get it apart. Stihl fs 45

Maybe you can lock up the motor and just remove the whole string head as a complete assembly...Try taking the spark plug out of the engine...turn the engine over till the piston is near bottom of the cylinder, then insert a length of clean pull rope or curtain cord or even nylon rope into cylinder..then when your turn the spool or string head the engine piston will come up and compress the material inside...effectively locking up the motor to allow removal of the spool.

Pull string locked up

check oil , if you didn't have sufficiant oil you may have blown the motor up . try turning mower up and turnning blade by hand to see if motor is froze. if so you can kiss this mower goodby ,or at least the motor. sorry .by the way maybe you would want to check the oil in your car before you blow it up too
