Gas flows freely out the carborator pn 632351 on a tecumseh 8hp

do a search using make and model or search tecumsheh --- 8hp --

which blower is this on?
sounds like the drive wheel is worn or out of adjustment
or you could have worn bushings on the axles or grease on drive plate
be sure gas is less than 1/2 full
tip it on its nose remove plate on bottom and inspect

Could be the belt is broke or come off or the pully loosened on the shaft. Good Luck

if you have gas to carb rebuild carb or relace

Clean the carburetor and check the intake manifold to the head for air leaks/bad gaskets.

try to decrease regulator, maybe you ask to much power and it shuts of. specially with cold motor its important to ask less pressure.

If you want a 'drop-in' replacement, you will HAVE to source a carb that was fitted as original equipment. Following the demise of Tecumseh's engine division, supply is limited to 'old stock', but there is fair spares aqvailability at present. A newer 'primer start' carb will fit, but you will have to remove all the choke operating mechanism. Don't fit a carb from a larger or smaller engine - the mixture will be wrong, and the engine will never run properly.

if this is a single cyl engine ,the timing is correct when the match marks on the cam gear and thecrank gear are lined up .

Hi, check the starter if it's engaging too the flywheel. there is plastic molded gear on top of your starter some times gets broken.
