Look at the wiring diagram... The manual reset Thermal Limiter Switch (part number 74008715), located on the lower rear insulation retainer can keep both elements from working, not one at a time... I would inspect the back of the bake relay for a burnt/failing solder joint. Swapping the BAKE and BROIL leads is an acceptable test, but if you put the bake leads on the broil and still get no heat: check the control relay. If the broil leads will not heat the bake element, you have a bad element or bad connection. Be sure to do all testing of the elements with at least one wire detached so as not to red a back circuit.
I will say that is the control board that is not working properly. Have you try to unplugged for phew minutes?, this will reset the current settings. If not, I will star replacing the control board. Good Luck!.
hello there Please go thru this list of the fault codes for this appliance it will tell lyou what to do for the fault or what part needs to be replaced MAYTAG FAULT CODES
Maytag Range / Stove / Oven Fault CodesFailure CodeFault Code DescriptionSolution
F0
Function key stuck
Replace touch pad or if touch pad is part of the clock, replace the clock
(ERC).
F1
Defective touch pad or clock (ERC)
Replace touch pad or clock (ERC). Touch pad is a more common problem.
Refer to F1 test at the top of this page for more information.
F2
Oven temperature too hot
Replace relay board, if present, or oven temperature sensor (RTD). Check
sensor harness.
F3
or
F4
Shorted or open oven temperature sensor (RTD)
Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control.
Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.
F5
Watchdog and hardware conflict
Replace clock (ERC).
F7
Function key shorted or stuck
Replace touch pad or if touch pad is part of the clock, replace the clock
(ERC).
F8
Analog / Digital problem
Replace clock (ERC).
F9
Door latch
Check door latch components.

Possibly the bake igniter, the temperature sensor or the electronic oven clock/control. Does broil mode heat properly or does it run cool also? If broil heats to the proper temperature then the temperature sensor is probably ok. That leaves the ignitor or the controller which takes some more troubleshooting. If it is the controller, we repair them at www.fixyourboard.com.
OVEN CALIBRATION
Set the electronic oven control for normal baking at 350°F. Obtain an
average oven temperature after a minimum of 5 cycles. Press CANCEL
or CLEAR to end bake mode.
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
1. Set EOC to bake at 550°F.
2. Within 5 seconds of setting 550°F, press and hold the bake pad for
approximately 15 seconds until a single beep is heard (longer may
cause F11 shorted keypad alarm).
3. Calibration offset should appear in the display.
4. Use the slew keys to adjust the oven temperature up or down 35°F
in 5°F increments.
5. Once the desired (-35° to 35°) offset has been applied, press
CANCEL or CLEAR.
Note: Changing calibration affects both Speed Bake and normal bake
modes. The adjustments made will not change the self-cleaning
temperature.
You probably need to replace the baking igniter, (Igniter, bake burner Part Number: AP4102011 made by MAYTAG).
I tested the igniter function by (CAREFULLY) jerry rigging a bridge to wire the BAKE igniter to the BROILER controls. (Push/click plugs accessible by opening up the stove back) Testing the broiler controls this way the bake element remained cold. I then did the same test but connected the BROILER igniter to the BAKE controls and got a good glow. This indicates that the controls work but the Bake igniter's faulty!
You can access the bake igniter by removal of 2 screws at the front at the platform just inside the top oven. The broil and bake igniters appear to be identical but the push/click plugs are reversed at the back of the stove. (hence the CAREFUL jerry rigged wiring bridge.) The parts and wiring are pretty simple and visual once you get the covers off. Opening up the stove back is just a matter of removing several screws. UNPLUG the stove before you work. If you test as I described, make all connections while UNPLUGGED and then plug it in only for the brief test. Unplug again while disconnecting/reconnecting. Hope this helps.
MAYTAG Type "C" and "D" Clocks Range/Stove/Oven Fault Codes
Failure CodeConditionCheck/Repair
F1
Supervisory relay enable shorted (non-cook mode); sounds alarm and inhibits cook mode if alarm fault monitor is always active in non-cook mode, and requires removal of power until serviced.
Usually a bad touch pad or clock assembly (also called the ERC). Replace touchpad or ERC
F2
Bake/broil/clean temp runaway alarm; sounds alarm and resets control to non-cook mode when bake/broil/clean temp exceeds programmed limits.
Usually means a stuck relay. Electric @ 525F (bake), 640F(broil), 900F(clean)
Gas @ 525F (bake), 640F(broil), 900F(clean)
F3
Open temp oven temperature sensor; sounds alarm and inhibits cook mode
Replace oven temperature sensor
F4
Shorted temp oven temperature sensor; sounds alarm and inhibits cook mode
Replace oven temperature sensor
F5
Supervisory relay enable open (cook mode); sounds alarm and resets the control to non-cook mode
Replace electronic range control (ERC)
F5
Missing a/c line cycle detector; displays code (no audible)
Unplug appliance for two minutes, should clear problem
F7
Function key shorted; too hot at the clock assembly (also called the ERC) or shorted touch pad or clock assembly (also called the ERC)
Replace touchpad or ERC
F8
Analog/Digital supervisory; sounds alarm to non-cook mode
Replace ERC
F9
Door latch supervisory (door latched)
Unlock door and check switches or clock assembly (also called the ERC)
F0
Cancel key supervision
Requires the removal of power until serviced. See qualified technician
Hi, try this and see if will help you. Most of the Gemini models are the same.
To set Bake:
1. Press the Bake pad.
• BAKE will flash.
• 000 will flash in the display.
2. Select the oven temperature. Press the
Autoset 0 pad for 350° F or the appropriate
number pads.
• Each additional press of the Autoset 0 pad will increase
the temperature by 25 degrees.
• The oven temperature can be set from 170° to 550°.
3. Press Bake pad again or wait four seconds.
• BAKE will stop flashing and light in the display.
Convection oven and Bake will not heat past 200degrees. Broiler works fine and the range works fine. This is for the Model # MGR5875QDW, Gas Precision Touch Control 800, can you help. Thanks Kasz3
