I have a technics SA-EH760 and when I try to use the CD I get an error message come up and the CD loader wont close. There is no code number just an error message.

moved you out cars, to home stereo rigs.
the users manuals shows age as 22 years old
sure it can be stuck, or 22 years of dust in the optics inside
it must be dismantled ,cleaned and tested.
we blow it out with shop air or Can-o-air, all optics and sensors.
loader wont close?>>> means the tray is stuck open?
no error message told here ,why skip that/??
using local controls or the remote per its manual.
error U70?
this reg has self diagnosis mode,. per the free manual
try that?

Technics SA-DV290 Amp. Sound cuts out as volume is increased

hello it sound like the output ic may be in trouble you may have just dry joint on the ic which just resolder it . or there could be a capacitor leaking or they may have swelled up in which you will have to replace. it's best to do some visual checks first i'e look for any burnt parts any capacitor with bulging tops

How do I stop my sterio from turning itself back on to demo mode after I have turned it off? I have tried holding the power button down for 5 seconds. No use. Model SA-EH760

To kurtandloret. I have a SC-DV290 set up and according to the manual to turn the DEMO off I quote......While the unit is on: Press and hold [-DEMO] until "NO DEMO" is displayed.
I hope that this helps.

CONNECTING MY TV TO MY STEREO

Make sure the output in your tv menu is set to external speakers. Any digital optical cable, or RCA jacks hooked up properly from the TV's out put to the receivers input should work just fine. Take your time, retrace your steps, and make sure each cable is in the correct input/output. And make sure the receiver and TV are on the proper settings. Good Luck, and thanks for using FixYa!

Error Message

The F61 indicates a problem detected in the output amp stage and the unit us shutdown to prevent further damage. If you can supply the model number, I can give you the part required and the approximate cost.
