How do I delete contacts?

complete steps in case someone else wants to know how to add one as well..
Add or Remove a Contact
From the home screen, tap the All Apps icon.
Scroll to and tap People.
Tap the Add contact icon.
Tap the preferred contact sync option.
Note: Tapping Sim-only or Phone-only will save the contact to that location only, and will not be backed up to the Google account.
Enter the Name of the contact.
Tap the Phone field, enter the desired 10-digit number, and then tap the phone label field.
Tap the desired option.
Enter any additional information in the desired fields.
Once finished, tap DONE.
The contact is now added.
Tap the Back key.
Delete:
To delete a contact, tap the Menu key.
Tap Delete contact.
Tap to select the preferred contact.
Tap the Delete icon.
Tap OK.

In LinkedIn, you can't edit contacts because the data comes from LinkedIn. You can only add or delete contacts. To delete a contact, go to my network then select connections. You'll get a list of your LinkedIn contacts which they call connections. Look for the little 3 dot icon or symbol near the name and tap on it, you'll see the delete option.

Go to that specific contact you want to delete and then keep your finger on it until a menu pops up, the bottom one is delete.

Hi, In order to delete a articular contact you have to go you may follow this s menu.steps.
1. From the Home screen, press menu 2.Scroll to Contacts you want to be deleted, then press the Selection button 3.Scroll to the contact to delete, then press Options 4.Scroll to Delete, then press option. Contact should be deleted.

As you said me you want to delete some contact from you are phone memory means you can do this if you follow this things.Go to menu select contacts then scroll over to delete option and select that option after selecting that you will get two option telling delete all, one by one.If you select all contact will be deleted if you select one by one means you can delete one by one.If you want to edit the number means you can select menu and then contacts there you will get search select it and type the name after getting the contact select option then scroll over to edit number there you can edit.Thanks for you are question happy to help.

hi there, this could be windows system glitch. please follow troubleshooting steps below

1. Click Start , and then click All Programs.
2. Click Accessories, and then click Run.
3. Type regedit, and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.
4. In the navigation pane, locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
5. In the right pane, click UpperFilters.
6. On the Edit menu, click Delete.
7. When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes.
8. In the right pane, click LowerFilters.
9. On the Edit menu, click Delete.
10. When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes.
11. Exit Registry Editor.
12. Restart the computer.
