I have a Kenmore Electric Air Cleaner Modle # 85264 the other # that is on the back is B1100341 I have tried the service center for Sears and was put on hold for over 40 min and still noone came back to help. So here goes this Air Cleaner will run for about 30 to 40 min it makes a electrical buzzing noise than it shuts its self off. On the frount it blinks clean cell now and the button blinks as well that says check cell I can not find any info on this item at all so I know what is wrong with it. I have taken everything out and have cleaned it and made sure everthing was dry what is wrong with this thing HELP thank you.
I have the same one. I held down the ON button and the CHECK CELL button for about 40 seconds (everything I read said 5-10 seconds... which did nothing for me.)... Just hold them down at the same time for a short bit.. should kick right on. Good Luck!
It could be that the unit is wet or not properly dried. theyre set up not to work if something is wrong with moisture. try cleaning and drying the cell properly.

It sounds like the board fried. I would recommend buying a new one of a different brand. Aerus Guardian Air is the only class2 medical device approved by the FDA to actually clean air.

Wireing Schematics for power supply board of Kenmore C347-32953 air purifier. Not sure if connection P4N is ground (black wire) or does it go on connection P1L beside it.

Hello m4fnli! You can disconnect the power nozzle by pressing the nozzle release button on the back of the nozzle and pulling the nozzle from the body of the cleaner. The handle can be disconnected by removing the handle screw. Assembly beyond this point is not recommended. Check that your brush roll end caps are not worn. If they are, this can cause the vacuum to be noisy. If you think there is something in your motor we recommend you take your cleaner in to an authorized service center for repair. I have included a link where you may go to locate the nearest service center to your zip code. Hope this helps!
Hi David. We recommend you take your cleaner to a Hoover authorized service center to have the motor on your C1810010 repaired or replaced. Follow the link below to find a service center nearest you. Thanks!
Hi Tara! Try removing the dirty water tank and replacing it. If the dirty water tank is seated properly, you may have an issue with the sensor on the cleaner. We recommend taking the cleaner in to a Hoover authorized service center. Please follow the link to locate the nearest location to you. Thanks! Service Center Locator
Turn the Master ON/ OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit. Wait 12-15 minutes and plug the unit back in. Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and set your controls. The 12-15 minute timeout should have allowed the unit to reset itself.
you have to hold in the button until it resets.if the unit does not turn on you have to hold the middle button(on button)until it turns on....takes 5 to 10 seconds
I would recomend calling the 800 number to answer that question. I have this unit too and the instructions do NOT say to soak in Amonia and Vinegar! Good luck with that!
