When I try to install the program it starts to install but stops at 10 % and won't go any further.

check your spark plugs.. try to change your ignition coil.

If that doesn't fix it you might have some viruses and malware.

Make sure to select ALL of the "threat categories" when you install or configure Avira.

You should be in pretty good shape if you run and install all of these programs.

Sorry Martin. We don't have a lot of choices here! After re-starting your computer, check you have enough hard-drive space if in doubt, Clear all junk in memory, close all programs running, go 'off-line' (it may require you to go back on line later to Register) Then check disk is clean and unscratched, and try to install again. If it fails you will have to return to your supplier for a replacement. good luck!

Few sugesstions :

1) Check whether if your windows is installing new updates, sometimes YM does crash when window is updating. If you are using Win7, then just go to: --> Control panel/ System & security/ Windows Update/ Change setting. In the setting panel, you will see " Important Updates " box selection. Change it to "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download & install them". Restart your pc/laptop, then try log in to your YM.

2) *This step won't be necessary but won't do any harm too, go to: Control Panel --> System & Security --> System --> Advance System Settings. In the " Advance " tab, click "setting" at the " performance " column. Select " Data Execution Prevention ", select " Turn on DEP for all programs & services except those i select", Insert your YahooMessenger.exe (C:/Program Files/Yahoo!/Messenger/YahooMessenger) into the add list. Restart PC/laptop & try to log in to YM.
3) If those won't work, uninstall your current YM, restart your pc/laptop, then try installing a new one. ** If it still crash, then your internet connection might be the problem, & also, Yahoo! can be down sometimes too.

I had the same message trying vista. Windows 7 offers running older programs in XP or even Win 98 SE mode. That fixed the problem for me. Further I recommend running it as administrator. Hope it helps.

You will need to unistall the program and do the following

Go to start
All Programs
Accessories
System Tools
System Restore
Click Next
Follow the prompts and choose a date from the list when you know your computer was working correctly, your system will reboot and should go directly into windows without the error.
Once you have done this go to the website of the manufacter for your software and check their system requirements to make sure it is compatible with your system as you may need to install further updates to run the program

I offer to start with the obvious, have you tried starting the computer in "SAFE MODE" and tried un-installing then?
Sometimes running the install program (if you have it) offers options like re-install, modify, or remove.
You should mention which AV program you are talking about, and which version (Pro, Home, other).
If it's running slow, try turning off or reducing anti-virus program options, like scan priority, auto-scan, auto-update, web-page status checking.

Hi, Well i think the messanger is not installed properly. First completely uninstall the messanger then try to re-install it. It will surely going to fix this issue.

motor brushes are worn and nead to be replaced easy job if you turn washer on to its side remove the 2 screws at the bottom and take off the plastic panel you can see the motor and the brushes are red plastic bits remove them and replace with new ones that should sort out the problem and cost about £25.00 to do .
