I hate to give you bad news but about 90% of the time horizontal lines come from a bad panel and if that's the case the set isn't worth fixing as a panel costs hundreds of dollars
actually it is called a dead pixel. You can't fix it unless you will replace your LCD. Sorry for the bad news but it is for a fact. Hope I have answered your question
Is it still under warranty? If not I would find a good TV Service Shop and have them check out the power supply as there more than likely a 'Capacitor' much like a battery that is going bad. Blessings, A/V Media Guy
if u see them on lcd and final output also have these grey streaks then ur problem might be this u can call canon for free repairs but first try to clean ur camera head with head cleaning cassette and see if it helps otherwise call them see link
Gray horizontal lines across the screen in playback is symptom of dirty / clogged video head and you need to use good quality mini-dv video head cleaning tape to clean video head.
You either have a hardware problem with your video card. ( may have pop out of socket when you plug in the monitor) or the cable is not allow communication to the monitor. As long as the amber light comes on you know you have power so focud on data cables and hardware.
It sounds like a vertical deflection problem. You mentioned you had a white HORIZONTAL LINE in the middle of the screen. If this line runs from left to right across the screen it's in Verticla deflection. If it runs from top to bottom, it's in Horizontal deflection. I am assuming the problem is a Vertical deflaecion problem. The repairs necessary are most likley to replace the vertical capacitors or the verticla deflection chip.
Good Luck
