You don't need an installation disk to install a wireless router, although the automated installation can be a lot easier than manual installation. If you can't find a CD, then go to the support site and download the reference manual, then follow instructions to install manually. Once you get started, if you have problems you could still post additional information here to get more help.

Try this ....
Switch on the router
Switch on a computer with wireless capability
Ensure the computer has received an IP address from the router (DHCP)
To do this start a DOS session and type ipconfig -a and make sure the PC has an address like 192.168.1.x
Fire up a broswer window, ignore any errors about pages not loading
Type in 192.168.1.1 in the browser URL and hit return
This should give you the login page for the router. The username and password is usually "admin" and "netgear1" for NetGear routers, depending how new it is. If not try "admin" and "password".
