On my ge answering machine, the CL red light keeps flashing even though there is zero msg. so how do I clear this CL red light flashing

Your time needs set on your answering machine. If you have buttons on the top of your base, press and hold the day/check button to set the day of the week. Press and hold the hour button to set the hour. Press and hold the min button to set the min. If you don't have buttons on base, press flash button on handset to enter answerer remote mode. Press the 8 key to enter time set menu. Set hour and min using number buttons and set am/pm using caller id buttons. Press # pause to confirm the setting.

Electricity went off. Now maching is flashing CL

All that You need do is re-program Your machine as You did when You first set it up. The flashing cl shows up if there is a power outage and if Your machine is not backed up ith a battery to help save phone info.

I bought a wharfedale IN120 toch dect cordless phone with answering machine,on the answering machine display the number of messages keeps changing to the letters CL and back again continuesly,it didnt do...

Set the time/date via the handset. This will stop the CL (clock) flashing.

Program the clock. There are a some buttons on the back of the base unit that sets day of the week, hour, and minute.
