Belkin F5D7234-4 Router Logo
Posted on Sep 26, 2009

I'm having issues with the belkin F5D7234-4 and intermittent connectivity with the network, i'm running a compaq c502tu and the belkin G/G+ router, which the router is hooked up to a general custom built pc (in the bedroom less than 90 feet from the livingroom) and i'm having HUGE intermttent connectivity issues - is this a router issue, or what? [I've checked the settings and everything!] We've also been having slow internet problems with our ADSL, which could be a cabling issue. We just replaced the router before, again a belkin which had issues with totally disconnecting from the net and having problems.

I'm running Windows Vista Business with a Belkin PlugNPlay router as host. My wife's networked computer is running Windows 7. In my network/sharing center I'm unable to change the network from public to...

Running the risk of a thick ear from the wife, I would dismantle and uninstall the network. Reboot your computer and set it up again then add your wifes computer without letting 7 change the settings.

I keep losing the connection to my Linksys N router...why??

1.Primarily, if you use a N standard wireless router, you must go in for the same N standard adapter, to get full efficiency. You didn't mention the model no.
2.If you have any other wireless computer in your house, check with that if it also has the same issues. Try checking with new and old wireless devices.
3.If finally, you conclude that its only this Belkin adapter that is responsible for intermittent connection, then:
3a. Uninstall the Belkin adapter's utility and drivers from control panel(Add/Remove programs)
3b.Go to http://en-us-belkin.com/support and download the latest drivers for your model.
3c. Unplug the adapter and run the downloaded setup file. (Setup will walk you through from here)

But i could have helped you better if you had mentioned the model or part number along with the version of it.
Anyway, this would certainly work.

Belkin router not giving signal to linksys adapter HELP!!!!!

I dont think belkin has a stable driver for win.7 at this time. I have a belkin n router with a belkin adapter and had no luck.
Some people have had some success using a Vista driver.
You could go to www.bioticaindia.com and download a win 7 driver there. They show a 48% success rate.

Internet connection kicks off intermittently

most likely the issue is mostly on the belkin side as you deff don't want to use belkin product for any sort of gaming. If oyu want to continue using it try going to belkin.com and checking for firmware updates for all the devices in the picture and belkin seems to send out a lot of firmware updates to fix he bad ones they have already sent out.

Cannot connect to belkin N1 wireless router

It seems like your router is configured once without any issues. Ignore that error message if you are connected with the internet. The setup couldnt find the Network adapter or the router because it is know more a factory default settings. It is been configured already

Connection problem

don't shout at me, but many of the older compaq laptops did not come with a wireless nic installed, and the ones that did sometimes did not support G let alone N.

If able you need to check that the Wireless NIC if installed/avaliable supports your wireless router or most likly the otherway round.

firstly I would try removing any USB wireless adapters that you may have in use from one of your other computers and try it in the compaq, if sucessful you know that it is not your setup of your home network at fault.
