IF you go to the menu while listening to the song, there should be a delete option. If not, you should plug it in to the computer and search for the song. Then, if it's highlighted, just press the delete button on the keyboard. That helpful?
You can also delete all of the songs off of your player by fromatting it using the palyer. To do this just go to settings, and find format. Then select it and choose internal and it should ask you if you are sure, and select yes and let it do it's thing.

SOURCE: how to delete??
All Right, Hot Pokie, you have to use the synchro function on WMP or Go to My Computer if the former doesn't work. Plug you Sansa In and It will show up as a MTP player ( If you Dont have it showed up set it to MSC in Options) Go to Media then music then browse until you find the song and kill it by right clicking and selecting DELETE. This may mess your songs if you don't do it right and if that happens I am a jibbering idiot. JK. Go to Recovery mode as shown in Fixya. Hammervich Amerikov. See ya and thanks!
