Sorry if i am posting this more than once,,i am trying to figure this out,,can anyone please tell me where to find free police and fire frequencys at?

• In order to get some frequencies I need to know your location. State and Town or Zip Code and type of frequency ie. Police, EMS, etc. you are wanting.
• Just respond with the requested information and I will come back with some scanner frequencies for you.

Congrats on your purchase... you should be able to get fire, ambulance, police, local utiltity companies, local tv station radios, and a bunch more... the best way to get your frequencies is online. Alot are posted for different areas.

go to google.com and type in your city, county, and "radio frequencies".
you should be able to get free lists of the different codes. Also turn you squelch down.. as soon as you hear static, turn it up just a bit to eliminate the static...that will be at the most sensitive setting without the static.

Have fun... you can also get a list of the "codes" that police officers use so you can tell what they are refering to. google for "police codes"
