Rockford Fosgate Punch 150a2 Car Amp wiring manual

Sub amps are pretty straight forward.....Hook up you rca cable....then all thats left is you positive (B+) that goes to your battery....the negative that you should hook to a good paint free bolt in your trunk and the remote wire which connects to your stereo.....

I have a rockford fosgate punch P325.1 subwoofer mono amp that blows a fuse every time i start the car. I have a second pioneer amp but that works with no problems. How can i fix this?

Is it the correct size fuse ? Is it the power fuse or remote ? Either way check your connections going into the amp . Try this hook your other amp to the set of wires for the rockford if that amp has a problem its a wireing problem if not chances are its an interal problem on the rockford . Hope this helps !

Rockford Fosgate Spare speaker termal screws

if you have one that you can compare to another, go to home depot with that and match it up. If not, take the amp to home depot and get someone to help you find the right one.

Rockford Punch HE2 wiring question.

if your sub will handle it, bridging it will give you more power. The best thing to do is to find out how much power the amp puts out ( RMS ) and if it is in your power handling range bridge it. It sounds better and gives you a harder punch because of more power.

Rockford fosgate punch 700s gets very hot

Disconnect the speaker wires from speaker terminals on the amp and turn the amp on (turn the head unit on). Set the volume to zero on the head unit.

Does the amp get hot?

If it does, either the bias is set to high or the amp has other problems. If it does not, you may have the speakers wired to the wrong ohm load.
