The Users Manual for the VPC-E760 states that once it is plugged into the USB port, Windows will recognize it as a removable storage device. If it does not, check the USB Mode setting on the camera, and if it is set to PTP (PictBridgePrint) change it to USDC (mass storage mode)

My pictures won't upload

You need to install the software for your camera and allow it to start when windows starts. That way, your pictures from your camera will be uploaded as soon as you connect it to your computer. Or try also to start the camera software and plug the camera to automatically upload images. To automate it, you need the software to run when windows starts. Simply add the software at system startup.

Can't upload pictures to computer

hello.. your problem is not your computer,, your problem is about uploading picture from your camera
make sure your picture want you to upload is jpg files type..the uploading picture is must jpg type of files,, you able to change the file type of your picture ,,, how to change? open your picture and save again with select file type choices
or the to upload using other internet connection or upload using other computer to chick if your computer is not your problem,,, thank you hope i can help you have a good day!!

My camera will not let me upload new photos without the old ones.

Set that software in settings on "Upload and delete from memory" so will not be prompted every time to upload all pictures again.

Cannot upload pictures

Yes, you must go to your cameras manufacturer enter your camera model and nunber as in" canon sd-300 " it will give you the divers and frimware you need to upload your pictures. hope this helps

Go to a computer store there they should have a cheap/affordable usb cable or better a memory card reader where you can put your memory card into, it will connect to your computer/laptop and from there you should be able to upload pictures. and no you do not need to install anything at all. =) [email protected]

if you are using a cpmputer that has photo imaging software installed then you should be getting a prompt to choose what software you need to view photos with, or you should have received a cd rom from the manfacture to upload them to your computer afterwards you can use picassa from google to set them in photos ablums ect good luck
