Same here, when I play back it shows blinds...part is the video and part is blue. Last night I blowed into my tape thing and it worked for a minute...but is now doing this on all of my tapes. what model cam, if its mini dv and playback has audio cutting out then the cam that originally recorded the video had slightly off tracking and can only be fixed by playing back from the same cam that recorded it
Indeed it seems that there was a really stubborn bit of dirt on the heads. I had to use the cleaning tape several times to ultimately have a clear picture on record and playback. thanks again ,but successive cleaning can help for an effective cleaning of the tape path and heads.
