My Nokia N73 cant recieve text messages, it can send but cant receive.... :(

Hi! my nokia n73 can't receive text messages, it can sent text and can receive voice calls though. What should I do to fix this problem. Thanks.

My nokia 6133 says there is no network connection when I try to make a call. It shows no bars for signal. I cannot send or recieve any calls or texts. Whats wrong and how do I fix it?

Hi.
I have had the same problem with my nokia N73. Please check your SMS center number if it corresponds with the network you using, and that it has the complete digits typed in. And also, try to communicate with your network oprator to get your SMS center number. Good luck

Hard reset your phone. This will delete all the content of your phone so remove your memory card before resetting your phone. On the home screen type *#7370# .

My N73 takes at least 5 minutes to send one text message. When I press send, the "Sending Text message" with progress bar appears and stays there for at least 5 minutes. Any solution?

In N73 there is message sending failed, even centre no. is correct.

Goto message options>settings>text message>message validity=24 hours,

message options>settings>text message>message sent as=text

message options>settings>text message>preferred connection=gsm/umts

And double check Message centre number ...Thanks

I can't receive my SMS immediately

I think your mobile's internal antenna is harmed. It is not catching the network properly, so take it to an authorized dealer and get it serviced.

Hi! Have you tried setting up your text messaging? If not, go to Menu, select Messaging, select Message Settings, select Text Messages, select Messages sent via and you're done.

I am using nokia n73 mobile..i am unable to send text message.it shows memory full.have flashed the phone memory in nokia care but later this problem repeated. suggest me a solution?is there any code for...

simply first be sure you are using the memory card memory
go message--other---setting---memory in use ---(chose memory card)
second go to sent message and clear it and from the setting chose donot save the sent

you need to format your phone so that you can receive messages again...input this code *#7370# and then click yes...enter your security code...after that your phone will reboot...it will automatically on..so please wait until the phone open..after that enjoy texting again..hope this will help you

Unable to text

Hi,
This is a common problem. But there is a solution for this problem.
go to Messaging. Then hit Options. Scroll down to settings.
Hit text message. Options - Then "Message Centres".
Hit the Edit button and the following number should come up:

+47973100973
Save it and try sending messages. If again the same problem exist then call up your customer care who provides the services of your phone like Airtel, Reliance etc.. Ask the message center number and follow the above steps and save that service center number. Hopefully it should work. Thank you......

Too many programs, games, themes, music or other odds and ends loaded on the phone. The phone needs a certain amount of internal memory to function.
Solution: delete some of the stuff on your phone.
