Ps3 my ps3 wont play any games, but will play movies. it keeps saying operation error..please help...

your computer must be on to do this. This error code is netowrk connection error. If your computer is on and if you have the latest version of windows media player all you have to do is click on your library tab and then click on media sharing...you'll then see an icon in the box that says "unknown device"...click on allow and your ps3 should be synced up to your computer...Hope this helps. Try getting a lens cleaner disc. You should be able to find one were you get your games and/or movies.

you have a disc read error on your ps3. you can either send it to sony and pay 150 if not under warrenty, or you can get a whole new disc drive for about 50-60 bucks on ebay. you can find a video on youtube on how to install it yourself. its pretty simple.

Laser has to be bad then if its not reading brand new games or dvds. To verify this though get a can of air and gently blow it into the drive to make sure there is no specs of dirt or dust on the laser.

Now try the games and dvds again and if its still happening then the laser needs to be replaced and you can get them fairly cheap off of Ebay.

Ok do not worry this may mean two things crached hard drive or a corrupted hard drive all you have to do is turn it on but let the red ligth be on turn it on do not remove your finger from the button until it go's off again turn it on again keep your finger until it makes a sound but still do not remover your finger untill it makes two sounds after eachouther take your finger of fast nou a screen will apear say restore sestem untill your ps3 works again it take 1-4 trys and if nothing happens you must format it.HOPE I WAS USEFULL PLZZ RATE ME AND IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELS EMAIL ME TO [email protected] I DO PS1,2,3,DVD PLAYERS AND PC sorry for my spelling i am only 13 and i Afrikaans BUT PLZZZ RATE ME.thanks

sounds like the blu ray diode is burnt.
Send it to Sony for warranty replacement

I have a PS3 and Rockband 2 and getting the following error "An error occured during the download operation (80710723)" and says you cannot perform background download of this content.

Please help...daughter is unhappy on Christmas
