TV turns off while watching it then turns back on after abt 1 min

check the capasitor in the power suply and shange them thay might be swell

Check the Lamp Fan if it is going bad Lamp will turn off,

Try resetting the TV to the factory settings. Try connecting the TV directly to a different wall outlet and check. If the issue persists, try power resetting the TV. Turn Off the TV and remove the power plug from the wall outlet for 1 minute and reconnect it and check the operation. If the issue persists, then the TV requires service.

If you have never changed the lamp that's probably the cause.If it has been replaced already suspect the lamp driver(ballast)

Its problem of bulb that got weak in result and causing TV shut down.
Replace bulb in TV and I would recommend to buy Sony original bulb for TV safety.

Have you check the power supply,that's what it seems to me.

This problem can be a number of things. First I would say, check to see if Fan Exhaust on back is blocked. It must be atleast a 2 inch min. If this is ok then, There are a few parts inside you could change starting with I-901 and C-958. For more info you can visit ctechnicians.com

the color drive is going bad check with the sony service center it might be cover and repaired free.  my set went blue and the service tech is checking if it is covered.  good luck.
