I need to hook up a boat trailor. Trailor is already wired.Whats the color code for a 1995 nissan pick up/ I have a 4 wire harness?

I suspect that the 4 wire harness includes a ground, so you may not be able to connect both brake lights and turn signals, which are separate lamps on the pickup. You may need to get an adapter.

In any case, the color codes on the pickup are:

Tail lights -- pink/blue
Brake Lights -- green/yellow
Left turn signal -- gray/blue
Right turn signal -- gray/red
Ground -- black

the colour code for the wiring is on the trailor plug if its a 4 wire green is right signal, brown is taillights, yellow Is left signal, and white is ground. on the truck. check which wires on the truck are right, left, and taillight. the ground wire you can use any ground for the light system or hard wire the ground to the body of the truck.

Dodge ram trailor wiring

One of those wires, not positive which without looking over the entire harness, is a ground wire. It connects to the frame of the truck. This is frequently green, but not always. If the trailer lights came with instructions on wire colors, then find the wire that is not listed in the instructions, and ground it. This should solve your problem.

according to wiring diagram no module . do you have pwr at trailor connector. should be green w/ white wire coming into trailor connector. ( I believe pin 7 on connector ground should be pin 5 and is white with black wire )

You are going to have to splice into the tail lights wiring with the u haul trailer connector.
You have to match up the wires to correct colors, then wrap them with electrical tape .
