My laptop does not recognize my SAMSUNG YP-U3

I had the same problem with my MP3 player, and it turns out the problem was because I didn't have Windows Media Player 10 or Higher. After I installed WMP 10, it recognized my MP3 player and I was able to browse the player and copy songs.

Press the reset button on the player while its connected to the usb port.

hello,the power problem is due to either a flat battery,or a bad battery.but i guess it still shows the charging bar on the mp3,if it still does this then you need to get a new battery for your mp3.its not being recognised by the computer could be as a result of a bad usb port or cord that could be fixed.so all you need to do is to take it to the mp3 specialist engineer to fix it up for you and you will definately smile home.

not connecting to pc

1. Connect the USB cable to your computer.
2. Press and hold the button while plugging the other end of the USB cable into the YP-Z5.
3. When the display shows USB Connected, release the button.
4. The device is now in USB mode.
5. When through, you must safely remove the USB device. Note: To safely remove the USB device, right click the USB icon ( ) in the bottom right of your screen, and then click Safely Remove Hardware.
   

1. Upon disconnecting the device, it will return to MTP Mode.

Go to the Samsung website and download it for free - go to Support - then enter model #

my computer say when i go to connect it cannot connect i onli got it today do u know what i cud do??

I bought a Samsung YP-U3 . It had the installation cd .When plug to usb port It's charging but it shows disconnected...the samsung media studio and my pc don't recognise it, allways ask new samsung YP-U3 found. when i give the path to cd it dint get. Please help me....

there is no way to do that
