Why does MS Publisher automatically resize images?

Why does Publisher automatically resize images? When I insert pictures into Publisher 2003 (Word, too), either from the File/Insert picture, or a copy/paste, or dragging from another open window, Publisher resizes the image tiny. I want the original size! How do I get the original size to show in Publisher the first time? Tried the right click/Format/Size/Reset, did nothing.

I want to use the ADF to scan photos but want them to come out bigger

I just scan to the computer. Then in microsoft publisher i resize the picture the size i want by moving my mouse... i put it on the sheet exactly where i want it and print. I don't even have to save the publisher to do it. You can also resize fast in photoshop or any other photo program like Picasa (free online)

Code:7,202,15- My Canon MX-870 (Twain) gives me this error code when I try to resizew in B/W or grey scale. No problem in color.

"Internal error occurred. Scanner driver will be closed. code 7,202,15"
Received the above error while inserting scanner image using MS Word with Canon printer/scanner Pixma 439.

The solution is via the following MS Word software choices:
From Word tool bar choose: INSERT/PICTURE/FROM SCANNER/then one of two choices, either: WIA-WIA Canon MX430 Series, or choose CUSTOM INSERT (Preferable).

This is the download link of Ms-Office download it. Ms-word comes in the package named Microsoft Office from Microsoft Corporation.
And use winrar to to join all files if it comes in parts. After join all parts it become a .ISO file just burn it using nero on cd or dvd. Or Install Virtual cd software or Alcohol or deamon tools these 2 software are used to play images files like .ISO,VC4,image files .images are virtual cd/dvd copy of physical cd/dvd.These days these are used very much becuse some game or big softwares require physical cd/dvd of it all the time to play application smoothly so we can create aa virtual cd/dvd of the disk. Later we can burn to any amount of cd/dvds.

Recently im doing a data entry job, im typing a jpgfile to ms word...how can i match my MS-word file with the image files to find out my mistakes

Unlike publisher, MS Word is not a pagination suite, it will varry slightly when converted or even if you print to a different printer. The best way to try and resolve this is to do all your formatting using tables instead of tabing and creating free floating objects. This takes longer but will force the objects to adhere to a structure within the page.

Microsoft publisher 2003 logo and navigation bar disapear

I am having a simular problem, but it seems it is with ie 8. As long as I use ie 7 or firefox, I don't have the problem. You might try going to tools and the options and web tab and then make sure to take the check mark out of the "rely on VML for faster graphics downloading" and take the check out of "allow PNG as a graphics format to improve graphics quality"

Converting word formatted data in CStriing to MS publisher

Why not use Word Automation? You instantiate an object with a reference to Application.Word, load your document, then use the built in functions to extract the text from the document and paste it into the MSP document.

How do I make an image file smaller so I can send it by e-mail?

To make an image file smaller for e-mail transmission, change the image file size in "Exif Viewer" or "FinePixViewer". Changing the size of an image file 1. Start up the Viewer and select the folder containing the image you wish to send. 2. Double-click the thumbnail for the image file you want to resize to open the image in its own full-size window. 3. Select "Image size" in the "Image" menu. 4. Set "%" as the "Unit" used for file size display. Then enter a value lower than 100 as the "Width" or "Height" and click the [OK] button. 5. Select "Save as" in the "File" menu to save the image. (You can also reduce the image file size by lowering the quality in "Save as type".)
